Staff at the front desk was very kind and explained everything to me. Dr. Gift was wonderful! Great bedside manner and answered all of my questions. I do wish my instructions were a little more clear on paper as far as the timeline goes for post wisdom teeth removal. And it took the staff five times to finally get my IV. Thankful for Dr. Gift who ended up inserting it himself! Overall, I would recommend this business! Billing, the procedure, and everything else was laid out beforehand, which I really appreciated.

Very disappointed with Dr. Ocheltree and my daughter's recent visit. First, she was not told her piercings would need to be removed prior to the procedure. With piercings being common, this feels like it should be shared upfront to avoid last minute issues. Second, Dr. Ocheltree was very unprofessional in commenting on a piercing asking "what would possess you to do that". Quite frankly, it's none of his business and should not have to be told to keep his opinions to himself. And the worst part, my daughter disclosed a medication that has known interactions with nsaids. The post-op instructions, only reviewed with me, recommended use of nsaids. Luckily, I remembered there was a potential issue before giving her an nsaid while she was under the effects of the anesthesia. All that to also note, my daughter is an adult and Dr. Ocheltree should have reviewed her medication list prior to the surgery and advised her onthe use of nsaids. Dr. Ocheltree - Consider checking your ego at the door and be better.

I am very impressed with the entire staff here. They were courteous, professional, and treated everyone with deep respect. This was evident right from the front desk staff to the procedure room. The surgeon and nurses were very helpful in making it least painful and in comforting me during moments of my anxiety. This was a very patient friendly group. I will recommend it to all.

I love the doctors and staff at Capodice, Efaw, Ocheltree & Elger. This is my 2nd trip to Bloomington for an extraction and will have future trips for implants. The knowledge and experience in there practice is above superior. They make sure at every step you understand what is happening, the cost and assured immediate aftercare if necessary. I have had nothing but wonderful attention to detail here. It is well worth the drive to Bloomington from Springfield. I truly like Dr. Capodice and his staff. They are so professional, through and kind. They take all the fear out of being in a dentist chair.

I had the best wisdom teeth extraction. Dr. Gifts was very informative and answered all my questions. I even had my conceltation and extraction in the same appointment so I didn't have to make another one. He made me feel comfortable and his team is awesome as well. Thank you very much Dr. Gifts and team. 🙂
